This series of multi-layer woodcuts and etchings is rooted in the principle of stigmergy, a self-organizing process where individual actions accumulate into complex collective patterns. In nature this is seen in the trails of ants, the weaving of termites, or the shifting formations of flocks and schools. I translate this phenomenon into woodcut through line, repetition, and layering, where each carved mark functions as both record and instruction, building networks of rhythm and flow across the surface. The resulting images suggest landscapes, currents, or accumulations of matter in motion, and move between order and chaos.
